How do you connect with your instincts? In this busy world, I should probably take a step back and ask, are you listening to your instincts? I’m talking about those whispers of guidance, the gut feeling that arises letting us know what we’re in the right place, with the right people and doing the right thing or that pang that hits telling us that it’s time to get the hell out of dodge.
As I mentioned, with so much going on in this busy world, I often wonder if people have time and space to tune in to what they’re bodies are telling them.
In a way, I know the answer. I can’t tell you how many of my patients have let those whispers turn into screams that become stressors that eventually take a toll on their health. It’s not always easy but it’s necessary, listen to your body. Listen to your gut and pivot where you can — those whispers will only get louder.
My Season 2 guest, Joanna Bateman dropped this gem on how to get more attuned to your body and the messages it’s sending:
“Find what inspires you and move to that. Listen to music and then physically move your body in a way, and you’ll start to just get to know who you are and what you like and how you move.”
Meditation is also a great way to carve out a few moments of stillness to check-in with yourself. 5 minutes a day can make a world of difference.

Here’s to tuning in to those whispers and aligning with the truth….it’ll set you free (and a remove a lot of stress) if you let it.
